At HYR Studio, we believe in the value we provide and want you to be completely satisfied with our Service. This Refund Policy outlines when and how you can receive a refund.

1. Our 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a no-questions-asked 14-day money-back guarantee on all paid subscriptions.

How It Works

  • Start your paid subscription (Creator, Business, Agency, or Enterprise)
  • Try the Service for up to 14 days
  • If you are not completely satisfied for any reason, request a full refund
  • We will refund 100% of your payment—no questions asked

Guarantee Terms

  • The 14-day period begins on the date of your first paid subscription
  • Applies to both monthly and annual subscriptions
  • Available for first-time paid subscribers
  • Returning customers who previously received a refund are not eligible

2. Refund Eligibility

2.1 Guaranteed Refunds (14-Day Period)

During your first 14 days, you are eligible for a full refund for any reason, including:

  • The Service does not meet your expectations
  • You changed your mind
  • The features are not what you needed
  • Any other reason—no explanation required

2.2 Discretionary Refunds (After 14 Days)

After the 14-day guarantee period, refunds may be considered at our discretion for:

Technical Issues
  • Persistent bugs that prevent you from using core features
  • Service outages that significantly impact your usage
  • Data loss caused by our systems (not user error)
Billing Errors
  • Duplicate charges
  • Incorrect plan charges
  • Charges after cancellation confirmation
Extenuating Circumstances
  • Medical emergencies (with documentation)
  • Other exceptional situations reviewed case-by-case

2.3 Annual Subscription Refunds

For annual subscriptions:

  • Within 14 days: Full refund guaranteed
  • After 14 days: Pro-rata refund may be considered for documented technical issues
  • After 3 months: Generally not eligible, except for billing errors

3. What Is Not Refundable

The following are generally not eligible for refunds:

  • Free Plan Usage: The Free plan has no cost to refund
  • Credits Already Used: If you have fully consumed your monthly credits
  • Generated Content: Content already created using the Service
  • Third-Party Fees: Payment processing fees, currency conversion charges
  • Terms Violations: Accounts terminated for violating our Terms of Service
  • Repeat Refund Requests: Multiple refund requests from the same user
  • Upgrade/Downgrade Differences: Partial period charges from plan changes

4. How to Request a Refund

Step 1: Contact Us

Email our support team at refunds@hyrstudio.com with:

  • Your account email address
  • Date of purchase
  • Subscription plan
  • Reason for refund request (optional for 14-day guarantee)

Step 2: Confirmation

We will acknowledge your request within 1 business day and may ask clarifying questions for requests outside the 14-day window.

Step 3: Processing

Once approved:

  • Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • You will receive email confirmation when processed

You can also request a refund through:

  1. Log in to your HYR Studio account
  2. Go to Settings > Billing
  3. Click "Request Refund"
  4. Follow the prompts

6. What Happens After a Refund

Once your refund is processed:

Account Status

  • Your paid subscription is canceled immediately
  • Your account is converted to the Free tier
  • You retain access to Free tier features (500 credits/month with watermark)

Your Content

  • Previously generated content remains accessible
  • You can still export content you created
  • New generations will include the HYR Studio watermark

Future Subscriptions

  • You can upgrade again at any time
  • The 14-day guarantee is a one-time offer per customer
  • No restrictions on future account usage

7. Subscription Cancellation vs. Refund

Cancellation and Refund are different:

If you just want to stop future charges but keep access until your period ends, choose Cancellation in Settings > Billing.

8. Chargebacks and Disputes

We ask that you contact us first before filing a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks:

  • Take longer to resolve (30-90 days)
  • May result in account suspension during investigation
  • Can be avoided with a quick email to refunds@hyrstudio.com

We are committed to resolving billing issues quickly and fairly.

9. Enterprise and Custom Plans

For Enterprise customers with custom agreements:

  • Refund terms are specified in your service agreement
  • Contact your dedicated account manager for refund requests
  • Custom terms may include different guarantee periods

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be:

  • Posted on this page with updated date
  • Communicated via email for material changes
  • Applied to new purchases after the change date

Existing subscriptions will be honored under the policy in effect at time of purchase.
